The Aarhus Improv Weekend invites you to a weekend filled with improvisational theatre in October! From the 23rd to the 25th of October, the festival takes place at various locations around Aarhus, where you can participate, learn and explore alongside skilled improvisers from different backgrounds.
Programme
- Friday 23rd of October, 19:00 – Improv Blender at Kulturkapellet: Meet other festival goers, teachers and volunteers in a casual improv blender atmosphere. Write your name in the draw, get assigned to a random team, discuss for 10 minutes, and then pure improvisation begins.
- Saturday 24th of October – Workshops at Folkehuset Ankersgade: A packed day with activities, learning and play. With a festival pass you can choose and mix the workshops you wish to attend.
- Saturday 24th of October evening – Showcase at Kedlen Godsbanen: Closing with an entire evening where different teams present their improvised work with unexpected characters and fully improvised storylines.
