Aarhus Chamber Music Festival presents "Burning Hearts" – a chamber music programme exploring works by the European composers Alma Mahler, Maurice Ravel and Sergei Rachmaninov. The concert brings together songs and chamber music from around 1890–1930, creating musical encounters between these three artists' different forms of expression and moods.

- Mel Bonis – Suite Orientale op. 48 (1900) featuring Clemente Prudencio, Aleksandra Lyczba and Monica Tort
- Sergei Rachmaninov – Trio Élégiaque no. 1 (1892) featuring Clemente Prudencio, Jonathan Swensen and Jonas Willaume
Alma Mahler (1879–1964) was a composer, pianist and central figure in Vienna's musical culture; her works are marked by Romantic expressiveness. Maurice Ravel (1875–1937) was a French composer known for his orchestral and impressionistic genius. Sergei Rachmaninov (1873–1943) was a Russian composer and pianist, renowned for his lyrical and virtuosic music.
