Abekejser returns with a concert exploring the intersection between digital and organic. Since the album debut Floating Through the Universe in 2019, the artist has established himself as one of Denmark's most original voices in hybrid contemporary music.
The music fuses hip-hop's powerful drive with jazz's nuanced harmonies. From Moog bass synth to classic electric guitar, Abekejser elegantly navigates between tight, metronomic beats and free improvisation – always with a groove that invites movement. The new album Algolaity expands the soundscape: guitar, bass and drums meet synthesizers, drum machines and electronic soundscapes, created to combine analog warmth with the digital age's compelling strangeness.
Support: True Crime
True Crime, based in Aarhus, builds their sound on neosoul harmonies and fusion melodies bound together with instrumental hip-hop's feel and groove. The band draws influence from Moses Yoofee Trio, Kiefer and Yussef Kammal, while developing their own voice within modern beat jazz.
The four musicians – Andreas Skouros (guitar), Casper Schriver (keyboards and synth), Mads Kjeldgaard (bass) and Carl Lindegård (drums) – met at Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium. Their debut album The Evidence comes out in 2026.
