Award-winning contrabassist Adrian Christensen introduces his new jazz project AEIS – a dynamic modern trio featuring some of Denmark's finest musicians: Frederik Bülow on drums, Dan Hjorth on piano, and Christensen himself.
The trio works with a repertoire of original compositions, creating a resonant sonic universe through complex rhythmic patterns, melodic refinement, and musical intensity. The music balances between energy and restraint, between explosive force and spiritual depth – an organism in constant development and transformation.
AEIS breaks with the traditional Danish jazz aesthetic by bringing a globally inspired sound profile and uncompromising artistic integrity to both composition and interplay.
