Cinderella is presented as a fairy-tale family concert during the Aarhus Symfoniske Orgelfestival, with Sergei Prokofiev's colorful music framing the story. In the Symfonisk Sal, Jonas Hellesøe performs on the large Klais organ together with dancers from Balletakademiet, led by Iben Hützelsider, and percussion students from Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium in a vivid interpretation of the beloved tale.
Prokofiev was a Russian composer known for dramatic, vividly descriptive music. Here, the familiar moods of Cinderella are brought to life through organ, percussion, and dance, making the performance appealing to both children and adults. The event takes place at Musikhuset Aarhus and is part of Aarhus Symfoniske Orgelfestival. Admission: 50-100 kr. Booking is required.
