Baseball5 is an exciting 5 vs 5 street version of classic baseball. Instead of having a pitcher and catcher, the batter hits the ball off a wall with their hand, making the game faster and more intense than traditional baseball. The sport's dynamic is therefore very similar to roundball.
The sport is played as mixed teams, where men and women play together. The learning curve is very low — comparable to paddle tennis — so you gain quick success and can start without prior knowledge. Although experience from other sports such as handball, volleyball, basketball, roundball or softball is an advantage, beginners are very welcome. The team has minimal experience (under one year), so good conditions are created for new participants to develop.
The Aarhus team offers open trial training as part of Aarhus Tryout. It is completely free to participate, and you are welcome to come and try without being a club member or knowing the rules. The club has a strong team culture and is constantly looking for new teammates.
