Bass Drum of Death from Mississippi visits Radar for a concert packed with garage rock, punk energy, and gritty guitars. The band was started by songwriter and guitarist John Barrett as a solo project, but later grew into a permanent group that began touring internationally. Since the debut album "GB City" from 2011, they have stood out with a raw mix of garage rock, punk, and lo-fi rock.
At the end of 2025, the band released their sixth album, "SIX", which points back to their early sound and working method. This time, the songs were developed in John Barrett's home studio in Nashville together with Jim Barrett on guitar and Ian Kirkpatrick on drums, with Jeremy Ferguson as producer. The audience can expect an energetic set with clear inspiration ranging from The Stooges to ZZ Top. Admission: 135 kr. Venue: Radar.
