A guided embroidery tour through the Bellis district, where artist and visual artist Dorte Wahlberg explores the surroundings with you. Along the way, you'll be inspired by the neighborhood's colors, shapes, signs, statues, paintings, cobblestones, and small details — elements that become embroidery on the page.
You'll fill a small textile notebook made from recycled materials with your own stitches and patterns. A cobblestone can become a pattern, an old sign a color combination, a facade unconventional stitches. There are no rules — only freedom to experiment, freestyle, and create as you wish.
The course is open to everyone — both experienced and beginners. You don't need to know how to embroider; simply come with curiosity, interest in exploring, and pleasure in creating with your hands.
The tour is 2 hours and costs 200 kr.
