A small town wakes to a brutal murder at the clocktower – and it is clearly the work of a demon. Blood on the Clocktower is a social deduction board game that closely resembles Werewolf. You receive a secret role as either a townsperson or one of the demon's minions.
The game's dynamic is simple but intense: during the day, the town gathers and tries to identify and eliminate the demon, while each night the demon sneaks out and murders a townsperson one by one. The game creates an atmosphere of paranoia, where you can be the villain or the detective – and where even small actions can reveal or conceal the truth.
Unlike Werewolf, every role in Blood on the Clocktower matters. Each role receives information, which means the game requires both bluffing and seeing through deception, but also logical reasoning. Another key difference: even dead players remain active, just in a weakened form, so no one is completely out of the game.
The event is part of the Aarhus TryOut initiative and organized by Elysion. Free trial sessions are offered – registration is free.
