Breakwater is new Danish drama about Jenny Kammersgaard, the girl who swam across the Kattegat. The performance portrays her determination and unwavering belief that she can achieve the impossible, even when others doubt her. Jenny Kammersgaard swam across the Kattegat on 7. august 1937.
Ulla Vejby performs on stage. The production is directed by Adelaide Bentzon, with dramaturg Marion Vick, video designer and scenic consultant Sidsel Romme, sound designer Johannes Eberl Smed, and consultants Jesper Brædstrup Karlsen and Tommy Heisz. The performance lasts 45 min without an intermission and takes place at Teatret Gruppe 38.
