At this blind tasting, Burgundy is matched against German Chardonnay in an evening that explores just how high the level in Germany has become. Participants taste the wines without knowing the order, score them along the way, and help choose the evening’s best Chardonnay.
The following wines will be tasted, subject to change: 2023 Teufelslochgasse GG, Weingut Wöhrle, Baden (sold out), 2023 Opus Oskar, Weingut Jülg, Pfalz (sold out), 2024 Saint Morand, Gebrüder Mathis, Baden 449,-, 2022 Chardonnay ”Letten”, Weingut Klein, Pfalz 349,-, 2023 Kalkfels, Par les deux, Pfalz 549,-, 2019 Sonnenstuhl Reserve, Stahl, Franken 549,-, 2023 Saint Romain Sous le Chateau, Benjamin Leroux 479,-, 2022 Meursault Les Tillets, Pierre Vincent Girardin 1.300,-, 2022 Ladoix 1er cru "Gréchons et Foutrières", Marchand-Tawse 650,-, 2020 Puligny-Montrachet, Francois Carillon 995,-, and 2022 Saint Aubin 1er cru "Les Charmois", Sylvain Morey 569,-.
The tasting takes place on Thursday 22 October at Langdalsvej 75 in Brabrand from 19-23.
