Embroidery Workshop with Dorthe Margrethe

Learn hand embroidery from the ground up with the artist behind @engletråd, who focuses on upcycling and creative textile art. Dorthe Margrethe will guide you through fundamental techniques, and you'll get to practise with needle and thread – no prior experience required.

You'll take home an embroidery starter kit containing coloured threads, a needle, fabric motifs on stabilizer, and an embroidery hoop, so you can continue practising at home. If you'd like to refresh a piece of clothing from your own wardrobe – for example a net top or jeans – you're welcome to bring it along. However, note that knitwear is not suitable for embroidery thread, as it is not elastic, and tightly woven fabrics can be difficult to work with.

The workshop is open to everyone from 15 years and up. Entrance fee: 100 kr.
