Cæcilie Norby

Musikhuset Aarhus marks Cæcilie Norby's 60th birthday with an exclusive tour concert revisiting her Blue Note repertoire. The audience can hear songs from the four albums Cæcilie Norby (1995), My Corner of the Sky (1996), Queen of Bad Excuses (2000) and First Conversation (2002), which became pivotal to her solo career and international breakthrough in modern vocal jazz.

Cæcilie Norby is a prominent Danish jazz vocalist, known for combining jazz with elements of rock and the singer-songwriter tradition. The evening offers both heartfelt ballads and more groove-based numbers, presented with personal anecdotes and warmth in Lille sal together with a top-tier band.
