Carmen - Musical Introduction. The Danish National Opera

Enjoy a free musical introduction to Carmen at the Café Stage in Musikhuset. Excerpts from Bizet’s opera from 1875 will be performed by some of the soloists and a pianist, giving you an introduction to the production, its characters, and the music before the full performance arrives at Musikhuset in November.

Georges Bizet’s Carmen is one of the best-known works in opera history and is especially famous for its dramatic score and several iconic melodies. The event takes place at Musikhuset Aarhus, and admission is free.
