Concert|Deconstructed. A Completely New Concert Experience

Concert|Deconstructed is an experimental concert experience created in collaboration between three Aarhus cultural institutions: Godsbanen, Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium, and Århus Sinfonietta. The very concept of what a concert can be is challenged as audiences are invited on a musical journey through the space.

The experience is about feeling the music in a completely physical way. Works by composer Loïc Destremau frame newly composed pieces from the composition students at the music conservatory. Emerging composers explore the boundaries of concert form — manipulating space, experimenting with sounds, and creating new atmospheres by building music in unexpected ways.

This interactive concert dissolves traditional concert structure. Music is deconstructed and reassembles in surprising ways as you move through Godsbanen. Several works will premiere here.
