Experience a creative morning where music and handicraft meet in an exploratory environment that combines different artistic forms of expression. The workshop introduces you to a unique working process where sound affects and transforms your visual work as you progress through different materials and music genres.
You start by creating a visual expression using colors and paper, inspired by the first piece of music. When the music changes, you continue working on the same picture with needle and thread, letting new rhythm, mood and sound guide your creative choices. The process explores how different types of sound can affect and transform your artistic result.
No prior experience is required. You will be guided through the exercises with a focus on craft psychology and creative immersion. The two Craft Remix workshops, which are part of the event Rhythms Outside Ringgaden, can be experienced either individually or as a combined experience across multiple days.
