Attend a special lecture serving as a prelude to Louise Schrøder's debut concert. Physician Ida Bergholdt Jul Christiansen and composer Louise Schrøder present CYKLUS – an artistic and biological exploration of the menstrual cycle.
Ida, who graduated as a physician from Aarhus University and works as a hospital physician in internal medicine, will provide a medical perspective on the processes that occur in the body. Louise will then discuss her work translating biology into music and creating the work, for which Ida served as medical consultant.
Louise Schrøder is a composer and pianist, educated at The Jutland Music Conservatory, specializing in contemporary music, improvisation, and electroacoustic expression. She has created works for, among others, Aarhus Chamber Orchestra and Aarhus Jazz Orchestra.
