Physical activity and movement benefit both your body and your brain. Dance is a particularly powerful form of exercise, which research has shown increases memory, improves attention, and boosts motivation for continued movement experiences.
This event combines theory and practice: Postdoctoral researcher Chiara Cimenti from the University of Southern Denmark, who specializes in public health and behavioral science, delivers a short lecture with compelling arguments for dancing freely on the dance floor. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to experience these benefits yourself when dance instructor, psychomotor therapist, and relaxation educator Ditte Liv B. Lauridsen leads you through Silent Groove with headphones.
