The Unwritten is a serious comedy that explores questions such as what is real, what is illusion, and whether a person can be judged on the basis of a single wrong action. The performance is a free adaptation of Pirandello’s famous 6 Characters in Search of an Author, which caused a sensation at its premiere because of the questions it raises about both human nature and the nature of theatre. Here, humor and tragedy are combined in a story about truth and whether it exists at all.
