A community singing experience designed specifically for people with dementia and their loved ones. Stine Bundoline Pedersen, who has worked with singing for many years, leads this new initiative, which focuses on joy, quality of life, and creative togetherness without requiring singing experience.
Each session lasts one and a half hours — first 45 minutes with singing to familiar melodies, combined with easy and fun exercises that stimulate body, mind, and voice. Afterwards, there is coffee and time for pleasant conversation with fellow participants.
The meeting space is safe and familiar, where the group's particular challenges and abilities are taken into account. You do not need any singing experience — the most important thing is the willingness to be together and be part of the community.
