A stand-up special where comedian Niels-Peter Henriksen takes his audience into a personal and bold narrative about tragedy and humor. Following a tragic car accident on September 25, 2024, where Henriksen's parents and their friends were hit by an impaired driver resulting in three deaths, he finds answers through the absurd and dark comedy.
The show is an honest exploration of how to navigate through the most meaningless situations, and how laughter can still be found even in the darkest moments. Niels-Peter Henriksen, one of Danish stand-up's most distinctive voices since 1997, uses his characteristic "no bullshit" approach, deep self-irony, and provocative satire to touch on what normally seems untouchable. His promise to the audience is simple: "It was harder for me to live through than it will be for you to listen to."
Admission 100 DKK at Dokk1/Aarhus Main Library.
