Teatret Svalengangen, directed by Simon Boberg, explores the scenic approach to literature. The event shed light on how to transform a long poem – a literary form not originally written as a scenic expression – into a dramatized presentation, without losing the work's essential spirit and character.
Through the conversation, the audience gained insight into the process of dramatizing the text. Director Simon Boberg's working method and approach to both the long poem and literature as a whole were highlighted, and how he has transformed traditional literary material into scenic language was discussed.
