The Difficult Second: Masterclass with Charlotte Brodthagen

Charlotte Brodthagen, director and screenwriter behind the debut film INGEN KÆRE MOR, visits this masterclass during the filming of her second feature film LYDEN AF SUCCES. The film is based on the true story of three friends who together founded Soundboks.

The masterclass explores the so-called "difficult second" – the phenomenon that emerges when beginning the next film after one's debut. What makes a second film so challenging, and is it merely a myth? Brodthagen shares experiences from first to second film and discusses what can be learned and carried forward as one's career progresses.
