The Danish Amateur Orchestra Association invites you to DM Brass at Musikhuset – the meeting place for some of Denmark's most dedicated brass musicians. Over two days, 16 orchestras present themselves with everything from precise and powerful sound to tender and quiet musical passages.
The orchestras compete in several divisions, with the elite division offering particularly high stakes. The winner of the elite division not only earns the title of Danish Champion but also gets the opportunity to represent Denmark at the EM for Brass Bands in 2027 in Montreux, Switzerland.
More than competition
DM Brass is known both nationally and internationally for creating a special Danish community where musicians from rival orchestras meet in friendly fellowship shortly after performing on stage. This creates a unique blend of focused competitive spirit, nervous excitement and festive atmosphere throughout the two days.
