Join sociologist and autism consultant Dorthe Hölck for an informative lecture about autism and the living conditions that people on the autism spectrum navigate daily. Based on her experience as a specialized consultant and former development manager, Hölck provides concrete perspectives on what promotes well-being and what challenges people with autism often face.
The lecture is structured around three central life phases: children up to 15 years old, young people between 15 and 25 years old, and adults from 25 years and onwards. You will receive practical recommendations to strengthen understanding and work with people with autism in everyday life, as well as the opportunity to ask questions throughout the lecture.
Dorthe Hölck holds a degree in sociology with a specialization in social work and has worked with autism and ADHD for over 20 years in roles as department manager, development manager in Region Midtjylland, and consultant at several regional centers. She received the Autism Association's Autism Prize in 2023 and collaborates with the National Board of Social Services as a VISO specialist. Since 2011, she has run her own consulting firm, Go Between, where she offers counseling to children, young people, adults and their relatives, as well as professional guidance to practitioners.
