Geo, stand-up comedian, author and actor, takes you on an intense and personal journey through his dramatic childhood. Together with his lifelong friend Esben – witness to 48 years of friendship and to Geo's family history – Geo openly shares about his father's lies, violence and death threats.
On stage, the two reflect on what happened, how they reacted, and what consequences it had. Geo's mother and sister were also victims of his father's abuse. A central part of the evening deals with shame – especially the shame that arose when Geo's mother cut him out of her life because he chose to speak openly about his experiences through podcasts and books.
Geo is known from stand-up shows such as Geo's Garage and Den Ægte Vare, as well as the children's programme Motor-Mille. He has published several books, including Am I (Also) a Psychopath?, on which this evening is based. Throughout the evening, the audience is invited to ask questions, and you can expect a wild, emotional and hopeful evening about inheritance, environment and parents' influence on our lives.
