Looking for a break from a hectic or demanding life? Over four afternoons, we invite you to creative pauses with calm, focus, and freedom to simply be in the moment without performance pressure.
In each session, we immerse ourselves in a single craft activity and explore what happens when we prioritize the process over the finished result. There are no requirements for artistic ability, and no prior experience is necessary. We work at a calm pace with space for concentrated work, silence, and conversation.
This time we are working with wrapped images — yarn, thread, colors, and calm, repetitive movements. A library educator certified in craft psychology will guide you through the activities.
The series has been developed in collaboration with Thin Blue Line and addresses in particular those close to people in difficult situations, but is also open to all adults seeking a creative pause and a calming place to be.
