Join a warm and inviting community dinner in the library space, featuring delicious food prepared from simple ingredients most people have at home. All dishes can be prepared in a pot, on a camping stove, or over an open fire — an inspiring introduction to how preparedness food can taste wonderful.
The menu is composed and prepared by chef and gastronomic consultant Mikkel Hevring de Vries from Jesper Torvekøkken. Expect a Nordic dinner full of depth, balance between acidity and sweetness, and autumn's colourful ingredients.
The event is part of the theme day 'Together on Preparedness', organised by the library in collaboration with DR, Dansk Folkeoplysnings Samråd and Østifterne. Throughout the day, the library will feature lectures, activities, experiences and conversations about preparedness.
Practical information: Free admission, but tickets must be booked by 5 October at 12:00 — one ticket per participant.
