What does the world look like when you live with the certainty that someone you love will soon be gone? Åby Library invites you to an evening with photographer Line Krøll, who presents her combined photography and literary exhibition Anatomiae Melancholiae.
The work explores anticipatory grief, loss, memory, and the way our perspective on the world shifts when we live close to potential loss. Through images of people, places, landscapes, and quiet everyday moments, Krøll investigates presence and absence – as well as the feelings that are difficult to put into words.
The evening also serves as an introduction to Kenneth Thordal's book concert based on the novel Fnok, a story about a father who loses his teenage daughter.
