Marie Junker Boesen, farmer and manager at Andelsgaarde, presents a thought-provoking lecture on the role of small farms in modern society. The lecture explores how smaller agricultural holdings can not only survive but flourish as innovative and relevant actors in the future agricultural landscape.

The focus is on concrete questions about small farms' potential to address some of the major challenges facing modern agriculture. The lecture delves into how smaller farms can strengthen local food production, increase food security, and build more robust economies for the farmers themselves. Additionally, it highlights opportunities for revitalizing rural areas through strengthened community connections and creating better conditions for generational transitions.

Marie Junker Boesen unfolds the vision of closer collaboration between agriculture and nature—how smaller farms can cultivate and produce food in ways that respect nature's rhythms and open possibilities for a more seasonal food culture.

Following the lecture, there will be ample opportunity to ask questions and engage in open dialogue with the speaker.
