An evening dedicated to powerful literature and humanity's deepest questions. Author Keld Conradsen presents his new novel The Good Man, which explores what it means to be human and whether goodness can truly exist.
The novel follows researcher Finn, whose youthful search for understanding human nature and altruism resurfaces when a past he thought long buried forces a confrontation. The narrative spans from 1990s Aarhus to the present day and explores themes of love, science, identity, and the forces that shape us all.
Throughout the evening, Conradsen will share his thoughts on how the novel came to be and the ideas and issues that drive his work. The conversation will also connect the book's themes to his other prize-winning works, where history, existential dilemmas, and human relationships run as unifying threads.
Keld Conradsen has a background as a geologist and philosopher.
