Meet author Louise Juhl Dalsgaard, a master of weaving linguistic playfulness with depth and seriousness. Since 2011, she has created enriching works of poetry, short prose, essays, and novels, establishing herself as a prominent voice in Aarhus' literary community.
Dalsgaard explores the inner worlds of ordinary people through precise, poetic moments: the imaginative child, the uncertain young person, or the adult with profound emotional needs. With unsentimental openness, she addresses themes such as illness, loneliness, and death, while her warm humor creates both deeper reflection and smiles.
During the event, she reads aloud from her latest works Skyggehjerte and At tælle til lilla and continues the conversation with the library's facilitator.
