This edition of Morning Art focuses on Germany in the years 1910-1945, one of the most turbulent periods in European history. Based on the exhibition The Fall of Freedom, Martin Bjerg Dahl presents a selection of key works and explores how German artists depicted war, political radicalization, social inequality, and the loss of individual freedoms. The talk also highlights Expressionism, Neue Sachlichkeit, and other modern movements.
The lecture is led by ARoS education assistant Martin Bjerg Dahl. He is a graduate student and holds a bachelor's degree in Aesthetics and Culture with a supplementary subject in art history, and he has extensive experience in art historical communication. The event takes place in the museum, with meeting point in the Auditorium on Level 3. Admission: 75 kr.
