What does it mean for your daily life to be an A or B type person? This morning event explores the connection between circadian rhythms, energy levels, and training. Most of us naturally fall into A or B personality types, which affects when we feel most alert and energetic.
Your body's internal clock controls your circadian rhythm through a complex neural system in the brain, where light plays a crucial role. This event answers important questions: How does your circadian rhythm affect your wellbeing? How can you ensure sufficient daylight? And how do you fit running and exercise into a busy schedule—whether you're a morning or night person?
Program
Sleep researcher Mette Kragh presents findings on circadian rhythms, their impact on mental and physical health, and how light, screen time, and exercise interact. Running coach Henrik Mikkelsen then introduces exercises tailored to running with a focus on awareness and concentration during training. The event concludes with a group run at a comfortable pace.
Practical Information
Bring running clothes and shoes. The event takes place at Dokk1/Aarhus Main Library and is part of the Folk University's knowledge festival Hearts & Minds. Entrance fee is 50 kr.
