From Participant to Activity Leader

This informal introduction to scout leadership gives participants the opportunity to develop leadership skills through practical experience. In small groups of 2–3 people, you receive various materials or a goal plus a time frame, after which your group must plan and present an activity for the rest of the team.

Participants learn to think creatively, work together, and communicate their ideas effectively. It all builds on problem-solving, teamwork, and innovative thinking — the essential ingredients of good leadership.
