Lunch Jazz at Aarhus Jazz Club with Sofie Gottlieb Quintet

Aarhus Jazz Club invites you to lunch jazz with the Sofie Gottlieb Quintet, performing swinging vocal jazz from the 1920s and 1930s. The repertoire is inspired by the timeless music created by Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong, and also associated with Oscar Peterson and his quartet.

On stage are Sofie Gottlieb on vocals, Björn Ingelstam on trumpet and vocals, Matthias Petri on double bass, Sven Erik Lundequist on piano, and Janus Templeton on drums. Ella Fitzgerald was one of the most significant singers in jazz history, while Louis Armstrong left a defining mark on both jazz singing and trumpet playing. Admission: 100/200. Pay at the door.
