Join a relaxed and intimate jazz concert at Resonans in the heart of Aarhus. A captivating afternoon awaits you with live jazz, classic Danish smørrebrød ad libitum, and intimacy where the music plays right up close to the audience in cozy surroundings.
The music is presented by a strong young jazz band led by pianist Oscar Balund alongside talented music students from the music conservatory. Despite their youth, the musicians have already established themselves on jazz scenes throughout Denmark and Europe. The programme blends Oscar Balund's own jazz compositions, classic jazz standards, and interpretations of Danish musical heritage. Inspired by his background as a street musician, spontaneity, immediate presence, and free improvisation flow through the entire experience.
