Henriette Sennenvaldt can be experienced live at Radar in a concert that draws on her solo debut Something Wonderful while also presenting new material. As the former frontwoman of Under Byen, she helped shape a new wave in European rock music with intense Danish lyrics and a sound moving between pop, jazz, modern composition, post-punk and rock. Something Wonderful was released on Paper Bag Records in November 2020 and earned Sennenvaldt a Steppeulv award as Composer of the Year.
The evening opens with a reading by Asger Schnack from the book Det var mit system at elske, which contains 81 poems about love and grief, past and present. Schnack made his debut in 1967 and has throughout his authorship worked with universal and deeply human themes. Joining Henriette Sennenvaldt on stage are Bjørn Heebøll on drums, Daniel Honore on sax, Jeppe Skovbakke on bass and Rasmus Klær on keys. Venue: Radar. Admission: 145 kr.
