Into the Darkness is a youth theatre production about trust, identity, and the need to be seen and understood. Drawing on online culture, gaming, and digital communities, the performance explores how young people shape their worldviews in spaces that are often hidden from adults, and how difficult it can be to navigate the grey area between meme culture and radicalisation. The story centres on the days before and after the police knock on the door of a young boy and his mother, focusing on the relationship between them.
The performance is aimed at young people and adults and invites reflection on polarisation, online influence, and conversations across generations. Cast: Anne Gry Henningsen & Rasmus Elbo.
