Astrophysicist Tina Ibsen invites you to a fascinating evening about humanity's greatest question: Are we alone in the infinite universe? Based on the latest discoveries and advanced technology, she explores how close we are to finding answers.
The journey takes you to the remotest corners of our galaxy — from ice-covered moons in our own solar system, where hidden oceans may harbour microorganisms, to distant exoplanets in the so-called habitable zone around their stars. With the latest space telescopes and robots on Mars, science is now mapping the places where the fundamental building blocks of life may hide.
Tina Ibsen is an astrophysicist, author, science communicator and podcaster on RumSnak. She holds a degree in astrophysics from the Niels Bohr Institute at the University of Copenhagen and was head of outreach at the Tycho Brahe Planetarium from 2013–2018. Since 2019, she has worked independently to make complex scientific subjects accessible to everyone.
An evening where natural science meets the biggest existential questions, and where you gain insight into how close we really are to discovering "Earth 2.0". Arranged by FOF Aarhus and Dokk1.
