Jakob Dinesen has brought together a strong quartet with award-winning Spanish pianist Albert Sanz, bassist Felix Moseholm, and drummer Martin Maretti Andersen. On this DK tour, they perform brand-new music written especially for the band, with a focus on melodic and soulful jazz. Audiences will also experience Albert Sanz as a vocalist during the concert.
With the album Slow Flow, Jakob Dinesen has just won his fourth Danish Music Award for Best Jazz Release of the Year 2025 and has been a prominent figure on the Danish jazz scene for three decades. Albert Sanz is considered one of the most important pianists of his generation in Spain, while Felix Moseholm and Martin Maretti Andersen are among the notable names in Danish jazz.
