Winter melancholy meets hope and warmth in this concert, where Jo Harrop invites the audience into an intimate, atmospheric universe. With "A Winter Love Affair," she brings her warm and soulful voice to the stage at Musikhuset.
Jo Harrop has made her mark on the English jazz scene with music that revolves around the quiet, thoughtful, and hopeful. Her songs radiate a rare presence and clear sense of communication, which have won the hearts of both audiences and critics.
The Band on Stage
The concert features an intimate interplay between international and Danish jazz musicians: Paul Edis on piano, Torben Bjørnskov on bass, and Kristian Leth on drums. Together they create an open concert format where dynamics, nuance, and musical presence take center stage. The music flows effortlessly between melancholy and warmth, between the subdued and the soulful, leaving space for both immersion and presence.
