Gorm Bull, singer and guitarist, presents Kim Larsen's classic works through fresh and respectful interpretations. He combines his artistic integrity with anecdotes and personal storytelling, recreating the essence of the songs without imitating the originals.
He performs with saxophonist Niels Mathiasen – known for collaborations with Gnags, Kim Larsen and Thomas Helmig, and who participated in Kim Larsen's tour "Cirkus Himmelblå" – and bassist Palle Hjorth from Savage Rose, Peter Sommer and Poul Krebs' projects. The trio creates a dynamic sonic universe filled with warmth, melancholy and Christmas spirit.
Audience Participation
Through the larsenit.dk platform, the audience can request songs and share personal stories. This makes each concert unique and creates a strong connection between stage and audience – like sitting around a Christmas tree sharing memories together.
Program
The repertoire moves through Kim Larsen's winter and Christmas universe with both well-known numbers such as Glemmebogen, Gasolin' classics and solo works from Værsgo, Forklædt som voksen and Midt om natten.
Visually, a magical Bornholm clock is featured on stage, which changes expression throughout the concert – it actually thinks it's a Christmas tree.
