Kammerballetten visits Musikhuset Aarhus with international contemporary ballet of the highest class combined with live chamber music. The performance brings together acclaimed choreographers and dancers in a program that explores new directions between classical music and ballet and points toward the dance language of the future.
The program includes four distinct works: the Danish premiere of Wounds of Autumn by Ella Rothschild with Alban Lendorf, Maria Kochetkova, Mads Blangstrup and Sebastian Kloborg; the Danish premiere of a new duet by Mikaela Kelly & Alban Lendorf with Mikaela Kelly & Alban Lendorf; Closer by Benjamin Millepied with Maria Kochetkova & Sebastian Kloborg; and a new ballet by Tobias Praetorius - created for Kammerballetten 2026 with Grace Curry, Tomoka Kawazoe, Liam Redhead, Vitor de Menezes, Meirambek Nazargozhayev & Nico Janssen.
The music for the performance is played by TRIO VITRUVI, consisting of Niklas Walentin, Jacob la Cour, and Alexander McKenzie. Admission: 180-460 kr.
