Karmen Rõivassepp and Aarhus Jazz Orchestra join forces again for an atmospheric concert at Musikhuset Aarhus. The programme features music from the acclaimed 2023 album Ambivalence as well as brand-new compositions, where Rõivassepp's silky-smooth vocals meet the orchestra's grand big band sound.
The collaboration has developed over several years, and this time conductor Nikolai Bøgelund and the orchestra's 16 musicians also take part. Karmen Rõivassepp is an Estonian singer and composer with a strong profile on the Nordic jazz scene, and her music moves between contrasts such as light and darkness, calm and unrest.
