Gain a rare glimpse into the heart of power through the eyes of TV News correspondent Klaus Bundgård Povlsen. He takes the audience on a fascinating journey through Denmark's complex relationship with politics — where we all vote on election day, but rarely trust politicians the rest of the year.
Throughout a long career since the 1990s, Klaus Bundgård has followed politicians closely and brought complex issues to life via programs such as Debatten, Kontant, TV Avisen, and the satirical show Indefra. In this lecture, he shares his experiences and analyzes questions such as: Can Denmark get its own Trump? Are we responsible for the politicians we have? And are they judged fairly by the press?
The lecture combines sharp analytical insight with his well-known humor and rhetorical wit. After the presentation, there will be an open dialogue with the audience about how we can each get more out of politics, media, and one another.
