Create your own portrait using recycled materials and cardboard, inspired by cubism's master Pablo Picasso. In this creative workshop, children and adults explore together Picasso's artistic expressions and experiment with cubist techniques on the children's own terms.
KREAworkshop is a weekly recurring offering where curiosity and imagination take centre stage. Each week features a new theme, and participants work with varied materials – from cardboard and natural materials to paint, textiles and creative recycled items. It's all about daring to experiment, feeling the materials and discovering new ways of creating, without striving for perfection.
The workshop emphasises sustainability: approximately 90 % of all materials are recycled, collected through the library and donated by dedicated users. Facilitators guide and inspire, but children direct their own creative journey. A safe and enjoyable community is created for everyone, regardless of experience.
Practical: Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. The workshop runs twice weekly. Free admission.
