What does a time machine look like? In the CREA Workshop, children create their own imaginative versions when this week's theme is TIME.
Children and adults gather to play with ideas, explore materials, and experiment with different creative techniques. The focus is on curiosity, imagination, and the joy of making – not perfection. The workshop changes themes weekly, and children set the direction with guidance and inspiration from adults.
In the workshop, participants cut, paint, shape, glue, print, draw, and experiment with everything from cardboard and natural materials to paint, textiles, and repurposed items. Approximately 90% of the materials are recycled items collected through the library, donated by regular users, or brought from home – creativity and sustainability go hand in hand.
Practical info: Open twice a week. Children under 10 years must be accompanied by an adult. The event is free and for all experience levels.
