Join a specially staged long-table dinner where you, together with local residents, writers, musicians, architects, chefs, and artists, explore an important question: What should we be able to do culturally, humanly, and together when the world becomes uncertain?
While preparedness is often associated with practical supplies — water, batteries, and canned food — this dinner delves deeper into human resilience and community. What happens when familiar structures are challenged? How do we bring people together? How do we create meaning and hope through culture and connection?
Over approximately two hours, a special menu is served designed for both body and conversation. The dinner is facilitated through targeted questions and small dramaturgical gestures that open space for your experiences, perspectives, and ideas. There are no right answers — the event seeks out diverse voices and visions.
You need no prior knowledge about preparedness. All that is required is a willingness to listen, think aloud, and actively contribute to the conversation. The event will be documented in photos and audio.
