Experience two experimental music projects in one evening. La Tène is a Swiss/French ensemble that since their debut ten years ago have released four albums and numerous collaborations. With their latest release Moreïne/Déclives, the group continues their distinctive approach — a hypnotic fusion of drone, acoustic instrumentation, and repetitive elements between tradition and experimentation. Critics praise their unconventional approach to contemporary music: Stephen O'Malley from Sunn O))) highlights their interesting blend of acoustic instruments and trance-like, cyclical music.
Sgo is a sister project between Steaph and Ciorstaidh Chaimbeul from the Isle of Skye, Scotland — now based in Copenhagen. With their album Eòlas Charm (released May 2026), the duo creates a unique sound world that unites traditional Scottish music and modern experimentation through harp, accordion, and voice. The Guardian described their work as 'monumental and mesmerising'. Their music is deeply rooted in Gaelic culture and folklore, while simultaneously pushing the boundaries of these traditions.
